How To Romanticise Autumn
How To Romanticise Autumn
Not a big fan of autumn, but want to still enjoy it? Well here are my top tips from a certified Autumn lover. With the return of Autumn comes for many the return of school life and the boringness that comes with school.
1. Read a book!
The more dark academia or spooky the better! Not sure of what books to read well here are some of my autumn recs! Not in the mood for those? Well romanticise some more and take a stroll to your local bookshop and look for your next read!
2. Bake!
Nothing better than a rainy night, snuggling up beneath your blanket with a slice of warm fresh homemade apple pie in hand. Struggling to find some good recipes? I recommend Good Food, although I do have a post on autumn recipes on my blog!
3. Wear cute autumn outfits
There's nothing better than spending hours on Pinterest creating the perfect autumn outfits mood board then recreating them with your wardrobe to perfectly get in the autumn mood!
4. Watch autumn TV shows/movies
Whether you're more Gilmore Girls or IT, movies and TV shows are the perfect way to get into the autumn spirit, as well as possibly giving you the motivation to get that school work done while Rory does hers.
5. Making the perfect spooky autumn playlist
To get you in the autumnal mood try adding classical music for school motivation, or Spooky Scary Skeletons to create that spooky atmosphere.
6. Visit a pumpkin patch or apple orchard
As well as creating that cosy autumn aesthetic you can collect fresh ingredients for that amazing apple or pumpkin pie you can bake later, making your baking 100x more tasty!
7. Thrift
Looking for a cosy jumper or cute leather jacket to go with your autumn outfits? Try visiting your local thrift shops, you'll help reduce waste AND find the perfect jumper, helping you feel better and look better!
